Gently Used Shirt

It is no secret that most people think that Jose Baez is a complete and utter moron, not because of who he represents, but for many of his actions and inability to practice law on a level higher than a file clerk, but THIS has got to take the cake!

This link was posted on the BH forum and I am appalled. The link is for an ebay auction by a “former employee” of The Baez Law Firm. I can’t believe anyone would WANT to buy the “gently used” dress shirt belonging to Jose Baez, and am surprised at the $5,000 price tag for the “Buy it Now” price. LOL

This auction is for the ACTUAL shirt that attorney Jose Baez was wearing in one of the few well-known pictures taken of him alongside Casey Anthony, (who is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial for allegedly killing her daughter in Orlando, Florida). I believe the picture was taken sometime during the late summer of 2008, which is when Casey Anthony posted bond and was granted permission to visit attorney Baez at his law firm on an almost daily basis. It was taken as he walked her out of his office and up to his vehicle which was awaiting her for her departure.

I am in possession of this shirt because I used to work for him at his law firm, and one day he gave me several of his shirts that he did not need anymore being that he had purchased some new ones. This was obviously one of them. The shirt stands out from the rest he gave me because it has been identified by him as the same shirt he was wearing in the picture with her. It was always referred to in the law firm as “The Famous Shirt”.

BONUS: I am also adding a purple wristband that was given to me by Casey Anthony herself. It is like the many she was seen wearing throughout local and national news coverage.

I believe that this is the only time that pieces of “paraphernalia” of this nature and magnitude will ever be made available to the public or to a private collector. Seize your chance to own a piece of legal history.

I have posted pictures that show Mr. Baez wearing the shirt alongside Casey Anthony, as well as a picture of my old business card in order to prove the authenticity of this auction. The winning bidder will receive the shirt and the business card, and the purple wristband. I will also provide a “Certificate of Authenticity” for the shirt.

There are several other views of the shirt listed on the auction, and the seller will even throw in a free purple wristband given to him/her by Casey Anthony. I am sure people are beating down the doors trying to win this great deal! Not. LOL So far, not one bid. I’m shocked. ha

The buyer also gets to pay $20 shipping. LMAO Somehow, I would think that since they are trying to rake in the big bucks for a $50 shirt, they would pay the shipping. I am also wondering who is selling this and if Mr. Baez is behind this. At this point, anything is possible.

The duhfense was in court on Friday arguing why a judge should prohibit prosecutors from seeking the death penalty against the Casey Anthony. For the first time that I can recall during this case, Casey showed emotion. She burst into sobs when prosecutor Jeff Ashton suggested that Caylee killer held her arms down placed several pieces of duct tape over her mouth and nose. He stated that Caylee was old enough to fight off her attacker or to try to remove the tape and that Casey had to have held her down. You could hear Casey state to Andrea Lyon, “Make him stop” to which Lyon responded, “I can’t”.

“Make it stop” – sounds like something we have all said at one time or another with regard to this case.

It is a must have for everyones clothing line. I can’t believe anyone would even bid on it. Oddly enough, I’m sure Baez has some fans out there, and someone will buy it right up at some point.

I just hope that the seller really isn’t Jose himself trying to make an extra buck. Those legal expenses for Casey must be piling up, and since he can’t get her under his desk anymore…well you can figure out the rest!

I wondered if it weren’t Jose himself because otherwise, I would be on the horn with ebay telling them that this person had no business using the name of his business to shill his wares. I would not be surprised by anything at this point!!
