The Duct Tape Chronicles
I haven’t written about the Caylee Anthony case in forever, because frankly…I’ve got case fatigue. Things are moving along slowly, and there is always something scandalous that Jose Baez and/or the Anthony’s are involved in: from the giant tattoos and cruise photos to to the motion that Baez has filed last week. This motion is seeking to allow Roy Kronk’s prior bad acts and is basically pointing the finger at him as a murder suspect. Hogwash! So, where is Zanny the Nanny? I thought SHE was the person responsible for Caylee’s disappearance? There’s an old saying that if you throw enough s**t at the wall, eventually you’ll get something to stick. That’s what it seems like they are doing.
Kronk’s attorney says:
“Shortly after adjourning the deposition, the Anthony defense team filed a Motion, Memorandum of Law, and accompanying materials suggesting that Roy Kronk, the individual who found Caylee Anthony’s remains and repeatedly reported his find to law enforcement agencies, should be considered a suspect in the murder of Caylee Anthony,” Evans said. “He voluntarily appeared today and truthfully responded to all questions asked by Anthony’s attorney. He has cooperated fully with law enforcement from Day One. He has nothing to hide, and has hidden nothing.”
The duhfense has hired a new private investigator who has been digging up old trash on Kronk, and they found one of his ex-wives, Jill Kerley. Baez and team videotaped an interview with her, and I am no expert, but this woman comes off as being highly suspect as far as the truth goes. She is not sure of herself, and the him-hawing around while answering questions makes her story seem less than credible.
When I was in Maryland he beat me up in front of his dad, and I had to go to the hospital. He would tell me to sit on the couch, if I moved he would beat me. He duct taped my hands one time, and I was in Key West at the time and I was sitting in the chair and he told me if I moved he would beat me…”
She said that Kronk abused her and that he used duct tape to restrain her. She stated that she was duct taped for 45 minutes or so. So this qualifies her to make an accusation that her ex-husband is a child killer? Is she to be believed that her “gut” is telling her that Kronk killed Caylee Anthony? Is this malarkey what Baez is basing his defense on? In my opinion, this sounds like sour grapes and the Anthony defense team are really reaching at this point for anything to save their client. The cold, hard truth of the matter is that Casey Anthony is responsible for her daughter’s death, and her alone.
I just want this beast to have her day in court, and be done with it. However, I do believe that at this point, Baez has already insured that Casey will have the basis for an appeal because of his incompetence in representing her.

Agree with you princess. I think they are grasping at straws and this EX-Wife is wanting attention. It would not be the first time people have lied in murder cases so that they could get some fame and attention out of it. A case in IL comes to mind.
I’m with you princess, case fatigue…and I feel like the more I ignore Bozo’s ridiculous theories, motions and general bulls**t the better off I am. It used make me crazy, but like you have kind of resigned myself to the fact that in the end, the best thing Bozo has done for her is set himself up to be proven insufficient counsel, possibly giving her an appeal issue. I hope at the end of the day, she doesnt get an appeal, because even though Jose is in over his head, they have quite a few extremely qualified experts and attorneys on the defense side to cancel out Bozo’s incompetence.
In my mind, she’s guilty and she will be found guilty by a jury but just thinking about having to sit through a year of defense shenanigans makes me tired.
Poor Caylee, still lost in this mess with no one defended her.
Hopefully, Big Bertha will kill Casey in prison and we won’t have to waste our time and money on an appeal. Casey is denying stealing money too, and there she was caught red-handed. Why even bother pleading not guilty when the evidence is right there. Any trick in the book to get their client off. It is all just a big game to them.
She certainly has become the role model for being unaccountable for one’s actions. She gives the word liar a whole new meaning.
This is also a very lame attempt to bring in “duct tape”. “Roy Kronk has duct tape; the neighbor has duct tape; the neighbor’s dog has duct tape; see, someone else did it”. It is lame lame. All the evidence points to Casey. From the 31 days of partying, to lying to police about her “job” at “Universal”, to the “Zanny-the-Nanny”. It is insulting to anyone of average intelligence that we are expected to believe her nonsense.
Smoke and mirrors – The Baez Way.
I’m interested in everyone’s opinion – Will Casey take the stand in her own defense or not? I remember Baez saying very specifically on multiple occasions that the “truth” will all come out at the trial and that the “truth” will show she is 100% innocent. She certainly has had a LOT of free time to sit and spin up more lies to tell in court. This girl wouldn’t know the truth if it bit her in the butt.
I don’t think she will. But if she does, boy would I love to be in that courtroom!
No s**t @ Baez’s incompetency! SMF!! No, Casey won’t take the stand….bet my lily white ass on that. And what you all said @ where is Zanny the nanny?? Now they blame good ol’ Roy??? This whole team is as f**ked up as Casey [and her sociopath mama]. I believe I recently read that also found in the vicinity of Caylee’s body was a gatorade bottle with chlorofoam [sp] and a syringe with hormones in it. And they apparantly can link these back to Casey and her car. Anyone else heard this??
Yes, that was in the last doc dump. Everything leads back to Casey, yet they are going to try to implicate the man who was instrumental in finding Caylee’s remains. Makes me ill. There are some videos of Andera Lyon that were yanked. She was speaking at a Bar convention, and was very unprofessional, IMO and talked about b***hes, and juries. I think the audio is on youtube. I’ll try to post them here, but it was a real eye opener about her as well.
Jills body language SCREAMS LIER.An Kronks dads dead,so he cant testify,how convenent for her.Roy has no charges pending.An was cleared by surpreme court ,as doing no wrong.Maybe the fought,werent compadable.But this same woman went an bought him a plane ticket,to leave.I just dont believe her.An i know she,as well as the others made money-its all about a dollar. Thank God Kronk kept returning,like everyone else searching.An he found little Caylee Marie,before the Anthonys could move,an bury her.
