I have tried very hard to keep my comments about the Anthony’s free of emotion in the past, and have ticked a few people off because of my stance that they were the only people who should be making a red cent off of Caylee Marie Anthony. I still stand by that school of thought, even though I find some of their money making ideas offensive.
Now that the case has really settled down and any news reports are generally about what a bumbling idiot Jose Baez is, there is really no new information about the upcoming murder trial. News is scarce, and as such Nancy Grace continues to have Leonard Padilla as a guest to be a time filler and give his commentary on daisy chains or his staunch belief in the FBI and how they do it old school. I don’t understand why he is still a guest, but I’m not the producer.
Since news is scarce, anything related to the Anthony’s piques my attention. Their new (pending) nonprofit organization The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation really grabbed my eyeballs. I found myself boiling after I finished reading the “Mission Statement”. Here ya’ go – tell me if you aren’t PO’d when you finish reading this. I understand that they feel the need to make a difference, but this mission statement is ignorant.
The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation will prevent child abduction through the creation of awareness of child safety measures and the missing child epidemic; will provide support to families and law enforcement during child recovery efforts; and will assist in the well-being of children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.
Caylee was never missing. She was not abducted! She was MURDERED by her own mother!
The only child safety measures that the Anthony’s should have put in place were ones within their own home – the monster that they were living with. THEY created Casey. They knew she was broken and that she didn’t want to be a mother. They forced her to have Caylee because Cindy didn’t want to risk embarrassment because her child was an unwed mother. It was all about keeping up appearances in the Anthony household, and as a result Caylee is dead.
As far as providing “support to families and law enforcement” — is this being coordinated from the pages of the Anthony’s Missing/Murdered Children for Dummies book? If I recall correctly, the family was less than cooperative when providing support to law enforcement. In fact, they were deceptive to law enforcement and acted as though police interviews were burdensome. They were not cooperative with law enforcement during the investigation into their MURDERED granddaughter.
George was on the offensive and stated behind his wife’s back that he was certain that the smell in the car was human decomposition. He said it was a smell that you never forget. He was so upset by the thought that it was a dead Caylee, that he threw up. Yet, Cindy swore up and down that Casey loved Caylee and she surely was not responsible for her disappearance and the nanny that NO ONE had ever met had Caylee. It got old…real fast.
Honestly, Cindy and George Anthony are the last people on Earth that I would reach out to for child-rearing advice. It’s painfully obvious what a terrific job they did with Casey. *sarcasm* The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation website further states that:
We will provide emotional support and advice on dealing with media inquiries. In addition,we will provide families with information on a variety of other resources available to families of missing children from private and public sector organizations. Finally we will provide parents and families with education regarding child safety. In an effort to prevent the incidence of child abductions, the organization may make available educational materials regarding child safety and protection practices.
Advice on dealing with media inquiries? Is this for real? Are they going to throw in a free hammer and yellow caution tape? This was how they dealt with the media. Will CMA Foundation provide parents and families with education regarding child safety from the murderer that lives in the home? How can they even begin to make this claim when EVERYTHING that they have uttered over the last 11-months has been to protect the one person that caused Caylee’s death? How can they expect anyone to take them seriously when not one word of outrage has EVER been uttered by them over the fact that Casey Marie Anthony, the horrible daughter, KILLED her own flesh and blood, their grandchild? If they couldn’t keep their daughter from murdering Caylee, and cannot, nor will not own up to the truth as the rest of the free world sees it, how in the hell are they going to provide education to other parents and families when they had absolutely no control over their own child? Between the screaming tantrums complete with bulging blood vessels to the promises of Casey’s Mother of the Year Award, nothing that they have promised in the early days of Caylee’s disappearance has come to fruition. NOTHING. Lies, bulls**t, and hyperbole. That’s what the Anthony’s delivered. Putting any faith in this foundation as a credible organization is very hard to do. The mission statement is broad and obtuse, and as far as having experience in the areas they described, they get a big fat F+! There is no guide as to how one should act when their child goes missing, but they did everything that someone should not do when your child goes missing. They are the worst example ever of a grieving family of a missing/murdered child.
Good luck to them. I sure hope that their organization isn’t as shady as their pals’ the Milsteads and Kidfinders. You know what they say…you lay with dogs — you get fleas. Maybe it’s time for them to bust out the Frontline.

I guess to Cindy and George Caylee was missing even though she was killed by her Mom. Also even thought they raised Casey and probably were lax in disciplining her and let her get away with things, We need to remember that Casey was an adult and You can’t tell and adult what to do. She should of known right from wrong. Also Cindy did fake Memo’s making it look like she worked so I feel they probably wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Also Casey seemed like the type that if she did not get her way she would threaten to take Caylee away. Now if Casey was my daughter I would of known she did not have a job and she would not have been gone for 31 days with my Granddaughter. There are a lot of things we really do not know about what went on at their home. It is hard to say who really is to blame or if it is a little bit of both. The Grandparents now have to live with this the rest of their life and that to me is worst than being put in jail.
Actually I think it is good to have something like that in memory of Caylee. I only hope that they are not running it and they hired someone who knows what they are doing. I feel if someone else is running it It probably would be a great idea.
I think the foundation is another angle to make money … pure and simple.
There are plenty of groups who actually help parents of missing children. There is no need for another one.
When you incorporate yourself right after your grandchild goes missing people will go hmmmmmmm…and wonder why you felt that need .
When you start a foundation that you will draw a paycheck from and get many tax breaks through more people will go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Personally , I hope the IRS checks the Anthony’s very closely now and in the future and keeps a close eye on any foundations they form.
They have been learning the ropes from some pros.
But even pros can get caught.
LOL- um yeah , the idea of the anthony’s running anything just boggles the brain. They are attempting to play this as if Caylee were abducted and then murdered. I do believe they just can’t face the facts, and will refuse to believe casey committed murder even if (when) she is convicted.
This whole family is the stuff books about dysfunctional families are written.
In my opinion this is just another money making scheme the Anthonys have cooked up to keep from ever having to work again. They have done nothing but take money from the very beginning. I can just picture them searching for any videos or pictures and trying to figure out how much money they could make from them. Never one time have I heard any of them speak out against the death of their beloved grand daughter. Never once have any of them said whoever did this should pay for what they did to that innocent child, no matter who it was.
When Cindy first started doing her media tours, and Caylee was considered missing, she told anyone who would listen to her, to be easy with her, she was fragile. Not to say anything against Casey because she knew Casey would never harm Caylee. She said she was the very best mother ever and only showed love toward her daughter. If that is so, why did Cindy tell other people what a whacko Casey was and how she couldn’t be trusted and if things did not change they planned on filing for guardianship of Caylee and taking her away from Casey. She said NO ONE had ever said Casey was not a good mother to Caylee, yet it was she herself that said the exact same thing. That Casey was not a good mother and she stole and she lied and she continuously left her with them a lot, If Casey was such an excellent mother then why would Cindy say those things and make plans to try to get control of Caylee?
I really believe the first time Casey was released to come home, that was the time she told Cindy the truth about what she had done to Caylee. I don’t think they told George at that time, but Casey told Lee, and she told Cindy. Cindy has known for a long time that Caylee was dead and that Casey killed her. How any decent mother could stand behind her child knowing she had murdered her beloved grandchild is beyond my understanding. I would have turned her in so fast it would have made her head spin. The day that Caylees body was found the Anthonys turned their backs on her and began to stand up and lie and lie and lie for Casey. Caylee didn’t matter to them anymore. That little angel loved them unconditionally and trusted them unconditionally also. And to think that the last thing she saw was her mommy’s face as she was killing her just makes me sick.
I think every single one of the Anthonys belong in jail for obstruction of justice. And as far as having a non profitt foundation to help people who have lost children or had something happen to them I think they should be stopped immediately. The only interest they have in helping anyone is to help themselves. They have been groomed by the Milsteads so you know they already have been taught how to hide donations and take what they want.
This case has made my blood boil since it first began. And watching Casey stride into the courtoom, smiling like she is the bell of the ball is ridiculous. I also knew that when peope started pitying George for his pretend suicide that Cindy would be mad that he was getting the attention and sure enough, now she is claiming she considered killing herself, even wrote letters, And that was odd because at that time according to Cindy, Caylee was just out wandering around with Zanny the Nanny, alive and well. Why in God’s name would you even think about killing yourself? Why not go out and try to hunt this person down and bring Caylee home? Because by then Cindy knew that Caylee was not coming home. Casey had already told her.
No one who has a child missing would ever want Cindy and George there giving them advice on what to do. If you are going to stand behind a cold hearted murderer who killed her own child because she wanted to be free then what the hell kind of advice would they have to give anyone? Now if they want to write a book called “HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE” then they might do a better job than trying to help someone deal with the anguish of losing a child.
I thought it was poetic justice that Cindy and George went on Larry King the night before Caylee’s body was found and told all their cooked up lies and talked about what a wonderful mother Casey was. Now they are going back for round two on Wed night. I just hope Larry King has the ballz this time to ask the hard questions, the direct questions, and not let their lies go unanswered.
The day that Casey Anthonty is finally found guilty for the inhuman murder of her child there will no one to stand up for Caylee. Not one Anthony will stand up and say “this should never have happened to our Caylee just because we loved her.” They will stand behind Casey, the murderer and call her sweetheart and tell her they believe her and not to worry. Poor Caylee, people who never knew her, never met her, never saw her smile will be the ones standing up for her. I just hope Cindy, George, Lee and yes, Casey too, never spend another restful nights sleep because I hope they hear Caylee asking “why mommy?” and why didn’t any of you care that mommy took me away from you because I loved you so very much.” And I hope they live the rest of their life in hell!!!
That’s what has bothered me the most about all of this — people who had never met Caylee were more her advocates than her own family. Who will read a victim’s impact statement for Caylee? Grandma and Grandpa jumped ship and are coddling her murderer.

I am surprised that the courts did not appoint a guardian for Caylee to stand up for her rights. I feel that they should of had someone for Caylee to make sure that any money that was made under her name would go into a trust or estate.
I agree there should be someone in the court to represent Caylee. I even thought about seeing if I could do it myself. I think it is wrong that no person is there for Caylee. Cindy or George could of been the ones to stand up for her. I do understand that they support their daughter. I would if that was my daughter that is part of being a parent but I also would of been there to show support for the victim. If my daughter was Casey and I felt she was guilty I would want her to be sentenced for what she did even though I would show my support for her.
I also do believe that Cindy has known the truth of what happened to Caylee after Casey got released. I feel George was left out. Actually I wonder if George is going along with Cindy because she has forced him to. Also I wonder what BS Baez has fed them also. I think he is the one behind them showing their support and has probably told them he can get her found not guilty. I also believe that George will be the one that will help convict his daughter. He already testified against her at the Grand Jury proceedings.
I feel George is the only one that has shown any emotion for Caylee. I would not be surprised that George and Cindy will end up divorced after this. This case is one that I hope would never happen in my family.
I also wondered about the PI going into that area in Nov. I know he was there to supposedly search for the body but could he also be there to place the body there. What if Casey had put Caylee’s body somewhere else and he moved it. I know we haven’t heard any info about the plants yet which wil tell how long her body was there. This is just my theory.
Wow! All I can say is that I agree completely Princess. And I also think the court should appoint a Guardian ad Litem to represent Caylee. She had rights until her mother took them from her by taking her life. Victims’ rights is a sore subject for me, mostly because they just don’t have any. The ‘rights’ of the accused far outweigh any regard for the victim in most (if not all) cases.
I wish the A’s would do something they at least have some knowledge of. Missing children? They don’t have the slightest idea of what to do in that situation. And that would be any detective’s nightmare wouldn’t it? To have a brand new missing child case and have Cindy show up, hammer in tow? Seeing as how they did such an awesome job dealing with the media, the thought of them helping handle media inquiries makes me shake my head. Instead, why don’t they reach out to help other grandparents who are in similar situations? I think if they could just be honest (cough), they could help other parents of out-of-control adult children. Maybe a handbook on how to protect your grandchild from your own child. There are many other grandparents out there in the same situation with nobody to turn to. Just a thought. But that would make more sense to me than all this calling Caylee a ‘missing child’.
The Anthony’s would have to realize this, admit it and learn to change their enabling behavior before they could help someone else. THey have not even reached the realization level yet.
They could “pen” a nonfiction book, entitled ” How to raise a cold blooded Killer “……or ” How to cover-up the murder of our grandchild”..

I agree with you about victims rights. I think it is horrible how the defense makes the victim look like the criminal or the one that caused them to become a victim. This is especially true of rape cases and abuse cases, This is why alot of people don’t report it because they are afraid of what the defense is going to say or do to them. The defense will bring up every little thing the victim has done in their life that makes them look bad.
I think something should be done like what the A’s want to do but I feel that It would be better that they let other people run it that is not associated with them or this case. This should be done to honor Caylee and right now the A’s are not the best example. I do have to say that George and Lee probably did nore to find Caylee than what Cindy or Casey ever did. They were too busy trying to cover up what she did. I really find this to be a tragic case when the victim and the accused are from the same family. I do feel that someone should be in court standing up for Caylee.
Sorry for all the posts but It really angers me to see this poor beautiful little girl that was suposedly killed by her Mother not having someone in court representing her. I have worked with children most of my life and have seen so many abused children not having anyone to talk to. I hate seeing all of these children that are missing and wish that there was something that can be done to make the people of this world notice them and want to do something about it. I find it hard to understand why all these children are being killed by their parents when there are people out there that would give anything to adopt a child and provide them with a great life. It seems like alot of these children that are being murdered have young parents that are not ready to raise these children They would rather be out partying instead of being with their child. Alot of them will leave these kids alone either at home or in their car while they are in someones house getting high. This never happened years ago when people got married out of high school and had children. Alot of people on this board have had children at an early age and have raised their children without abuse even when they were going through hard times. It seems to me that it is not really a sexual predator that is killing these children anymore but it is the one person that thes children love and trust which is their parents.
Maybe what the A’s should do is start something were these young parents can get help when they get frustrated with their children. They could have counselors to help the young parents to become a good parent. In Ohio here the Welfare system makes young Moms go through parenting classes. They are matched with a Mom that has raised children and that is their mentor. If they have any problems or get in a situation where they might want to hurt their child they can call the Mentor to help them work through it.
Something needs to be done to stop this killing of young children by their parent or caregiver.

Everytime I read or see ANYTHING to do with the Anthony’s and what they are doing/saying, I can’t help but feel it’s a kick in teeth and totally disrespectful to Caylee and her memory.
They made their choice. They chose the murderer. They have betrayed Caylee. And no amount of foundations and attempts at “do-gooder” bulls**t is going to change that.

I agree, lollipops. I’ve really, really tried to maintain a neutral stance where they are concerned, but there is only so much I can roll my eyes at. This IMO is offensive to their granddaughter. If they gave two s**ts about missing children they would be joining forces with NCMEC or any other organization. They could give seminars about how THEY failed Caylee, and why their home life was the way that it is. That is the kind of information that needs to be shared so that another set of grandparents never has to deal with a tragedy like this. Or how about advocates for grandparents’ rights? Where did they think Caylee was for those 31 days? Exactly where she should NOT have been — dead and decomposing at the end of the street.
Who is going to speak out for Caylee? Who is going to look Casey Marie Anthony in the eyes and say to her YOU, YOU DID THIS and now you must pay with your life as you stole the life from your child.
Ugh, the whole thought of them rallying the charity bell makes me want to puke. Here’s another tantalizing question for ya…why does Cindy have an email on Dominic Casey’s host? cindy@dgator.com Is he going to go looking for more dead children wrapped in trash bags?

I totally agree. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but everytime they came out with more and more outlandish bull. I just can’t tolerate them anymore. I do feel pain for them for their loss, but that’s as far as it goes.
I know their life is crap now, but that does not excuse their terrible behavior to LE, lawyers, media, etc. throughout this ordeal.
Your ideas about what they SHOULD be doing are good ones. First and foremost, they need to shut up and stop continuing twisting this tragic story further and show some respect for Caylee…they’re the ones who are making it worse for their daughter by defending her without any good solid proof to back it up, and they’re basically throwing little Caylee under the bus. Not once have they come on-air to say that the murderer of their precious granddaughter needs to be brought to justice.
In the meantime, they should keep quiet, let the trial happen. I pray somehow they become Caylee’s advocate in that courtroom, but I highly doubt it at this point. If they want to become advocates of something they must first search their souls and come clean about what really went on if they ever want any little tiny bit of credibility.
Would you or anyone,,please tell me when ,,,,did you see any pain or tears for Caylee MARIE….As much as they have been in the news and on the tv,,,,when has any one of them shown bitter remorse for the demise of this precious child…I remember the day her little bones were found. I don’t remember the site, but we all prayed and yes we “”"”CRIED”"”. and hugged each other on line….IT was an emotional day for all….THIS IS THE MOST EMOTION i’VE EXPERIENCED SINCE THE CHILD WENT MISSING, AND FOUND DEAD. From people who never met this child,and has cared more for her than anyone of them….This is proven by the fact, they have known (ever since the death smell) Caylee was gone, and all the pretentious lies, wanting to put the blame on those who are innocent.
I’ve never seen them react emotionally to her death. The only time that any emotion was shown was when George threw up talking about the smell to the FBI because he KNEW in his heart that it was Caylee. As for Cindy – she’s one cold fish.

I think George has shown more emotion. He was in tears at the service. I really don’t think George is guilty of much. I think they left him out of alot of it. I thnk alot or George’s comments are what Cindy is forcing him to say so Casey might have a chance of getting free. I think after the Grand Jury testimony Cindy has made him feel responsible for Casey being arrested for murder. I guess if I feel sorry for any of them it would be George. I feel they will get divorced after all this is over with.
I am not even at this point liking the idea of Cindy, as a RN who has contact with people. She is very inappropriate in many regards of her life. Perhaps that area too? Things add up… Didn’t know Casey was 7 months pregnant… a liar. I think medical people have to have ethics and to be honest I do not see any ethics in George or in Cindy. Even a security guard is supposed to have ethics.
I couldn’t hire either one of them for anything. Certainly not to teach parenting classes of any kind … not even for animals.
Animals care for their young better than Casey did. They will fight to the death for their young. New dick meant more than her child did. As for her mother not knowing she was pregnant, I call BULLs**t! I saw the photos and there is NO WAY IN HELL she did not know she was pregnant. She had popped out baby belly button. Can’t get more obvious than that. IMO it has always been about appearances. They are from Northwestern Ohio, and the population is predominantly Italian. People in that area of the US are very much aware of and try to protect familial appearances. It’s a cultural thing. She KNEW. She just didn’t want anyone to think that her family wasn’t picture perfect.
Some people have a lot of nerve and no shame. Caylee was not the victim of a stranger. She was the victim of a selfish, immature, lying ass “mother”. The Anthony’s raised Casey…they have no place offering their “help” to anyone. They are failures as parents and didn’t know how to take care of their own.
The only good ever the A’s could do would be to admit their scum of a dghtr is a murderer and try to deal with all the things they did wrong to create such a monster and then covering up for her. They have to do that NOW…that is the only way they can heal and the entire community that cares more for that little baby than all of them ever did. But they won’t do the right thing because they are all mentally deformed and are in their own little world.

Yah I do find it odd. Not one family members supports the Anthonys. Cindy has TWO brothers. Rick has already tried to play it straight with Cindy and is no longer on her Christmas card list. The other brother, I forgot his name is a psychiatric nurse and reportedly is a wonderful person and is not like Cindy. They have not opened their mouths to the press and have kept a low profile. I’m sure they do not want to get involved. I think they are going to let justice play out and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rick Plesea appeared as a witness for the prosecution one of these days. Time will.. It will all be interesting
Angel, no need to worry about G&C getting a job anywhere, they won’t ever work again, as long as George doesn’t go on any big gambling trip, or Casey doesn’t get out and steal it all, they will continue to live off Caylee and never work again. It’s sick to say the least.
Princess, I couldn’t agree with you more about Cindy knowing she was pregnant, and I’ll tell you why. When I was 16yrs. old, I was pregnant, and every single day was going to be the day I walked in there and told my mom that I was pregnant and needed help. I seriously called abortion clinics everyday, made an appointment, and missed the appt. time after time. There came a day that it was “too late” to have an abortion, and I wasn’t sure that’s what I wanted to do anyway. I couldn’t afford it, I had no way of getting there, I had no one to sign for me anyway, but in my young mind, that was the only solution. Needless to say, time flies, and the next thing ya know, I was tying my pants together from one side to the other using a knee high pantyhose, wearing huge sweatshirts. The problem was, I was about the size of Casey, very small, so it didn’t take long for it to show, and it became quite a task to keep it a secret. Throughout the ordeal, there were family members that commented, which I laughed off. There came a day my mother and sister came and just flat out asked, “are we getting a baby?” My response, “from who?” HA! What a dork. She knew all along, she said because she wasn’t having to buy tampons, not only that, it was quite obvious, the weight gain, the glow you get, among other things. She was torn as well though, as she wasn’t “positive” and didn’t want to accuse me of it, in the case that maybe I wasn’t pregnant, and she didn’t want to hurt me by asking that, just in case I hadn’t ever had sex, or wasn’t pregnant. I understood what she was saying, but was so relieved to finally have her on my side, I certainly needed the moral support. All the while though, once I reached the point of no return, I fell in love with that baby each night, lying in my room alone feeling her kick, but terrified at the same time, because I hadn’t yet told my mother. I knew she wouldn’t be mean, or freak out, but it was just so hard to go from being a child to being a grown up overnight by telling her, because I knew that our relationship would change and I didn’t want it to necessarily. I wanted to still be her baby…. Anyway, when she did finally ask, she cried, I cried, she hugged me, told me it would be ok, took me to the dr. the next day and things moved quite fast after that, considering at that point I was exactly 7 months pregnant. So I finally admitted it in Februrary and had her in April, one of the 2 best decisions I ever made, her and my other daughter that was born 9 years later, when I was much more ready to be a mother. However, I did the best I could and in my opinion, I was a very good, but very young mother. That’s why I know that number one, it can’t be hidden, especially from a nurse, or a mother, and number two, young girls can be good mothers, regardless of what Casey Anthony did or didn’t do concerning Caylee. It was a terrible 7 months of my life, because I was scared, alone, and was terrified that by not seeing a dr. that I was somehow harming her, although I did everything by the book and took care of myself very well, knowing I was going to have a baby, which I hadn’t expected in the beginning. I couldn’t have loved anything more, she was beautiful, healthy, and I was truly blessed to have her. Unfortunately Casey wasn’t the same way, and Caylee paid the price.
I truly believe whole-heartedly that Cindy knew not only that she was pregnant, but that she had no job, she was stealing, she was whoring around, but most importantly, there came a time Cindy knew she killed Caylee. There is no denial in that family as far as that goes. I truly believe the A’s don’t visit Casey because they can’t face her, knowing what she did, but at the same time, they say they support her with everything they have, feel, know, etc. It’s bulls**t for sure, sickening to no end. They should all be punished for what they have done, the lies, covering for her. Cindy had that one second of conscience when she called 911, and she has been back-tracking and regretting it ever since. I still believe to this day that had she taken a second to think about it, she wouldn’t have made that call, and they would have kept it in the family as long as possible, maybe even forever, unless someone finally turned them in. They are all psychotic, sick human beings. This has been about Casey from the get go, and George and Cindy as well. George faked a suicide to keep from doing the depostions, and of course Cindy lied and said that she also considered suicide. I don’t believe it for a second, on either one of their parts. It was all for attention, or diversion tactics. Just the way Cindy was never able to begin a conversation without saying how she was tired, hungry, etc. and they should not only go easy on her, but take into consideration all those things, in the event that she might lie or be inconsistent, making it not her fault. Again I call bulls**t.
This is the sickest family I’ve ever encountered in my life. I loved my child at 16yrs. old just as I loved the daughter I had when I was 26yrs. old. I was older and wiser, but loved neither of the more or less because of age or ignorance, or selfishness. They were/are my babies and I’d fight to the death for them both. Which btw, I did when my youngest endured chemotherapy at age 2-6 when we found she had Leukemia. I can’t imagine doing anything but fight for her life, and the thought of doing anything to harm them is beyond me, especially remembering those nights I sat with her, praying she would live to see another day, as I was sure I would NOT live another day if something to happened to her.
They need to be advocates for missing children just about as much as I need one more tragedy in my life involving my children, and/or a big hole in my head. This family is the s**ttiest excuse for human beings and parents I’ve ever heard of. They didn’t deserve Caylees love, nor do they deserve the benefit of the doubt that I so whole-heartedly tried to give them many times.
As for Baez, I’ll throw something in about him as well. The fact that these parents allow Casey to have a lawyer such as Baez is yet another show of s**tty parenting on their part. What kind of loving, caring parent would allow that scum bucket to represent their child? He wants nothing more than publicity, and I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if he sways the trial in whatever direction need be to make the most money for himself, ie. book deals, movies, etc. He is a piece of work, and a piece of crap. I’ve said before and will say it again, this family if they loved Casey would encourage her, still love her, but expect her to be punished, but more than anything, they would also prepare her for the worst, which is a guilty verdict. They are constantly telling her she will be found innocent, and she is just ignorant and arrogant enough to believe them, and I find that cruel. Believe me though, there is nothing I’d love more than to have her pass out when they read a guilty verdict. Unfortunately for Casey, she is prepared only for an innocent verdict, because she believes Baez is in love with her as she believes everyone is. She may be right, but the difference between Baez’ love and other peoples love for her, is that Baez can/does/will have the ability to love her to “death.” Which is exactly what he is going to do. Shame on them all. I do believe they will pay at some point for everything they have done wrong. Please, no one tell me that we don’t know how we would act, because we all know how we wouldn’t act in their situation. They are wrong, so wrong, in the way they have handled anything and everything pertaining to Caylee. They completely sold her out. Period, the end. They almost seem as if at this point they have either forgotten her completely, or don’t give a rat’s ass about anything or anyone but Casey, just as it always was, until Caylee was born, but it didn’t take long for Casey to steal the spotlight away from Caylee, as I’m sure the light was quite dim in the trunk of her car.
Advocates my ass. Foundations, organizations, gimme a break. Start some type of program for the criminally insane, then the A’s might be on the right track, as they would not only be the founders, but also clients of their own foundations psychologists and specialists. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at that for now.

I’ve hesitated writing a post because this whole CMA Foundation being started by the Anthony’s just hits too close to home. They have no business advising anyone on how to conduct themselves before or after a child abduction/murder. They should have done something to secure Caylee way BEFORE this happened. Yeah, that’s an unpleasant, messy, and even expensive process, but Cindy needed to get her head out of her butt about Casey long before this ever happened.
Almost 2 years ago, my family had to make a difficult decision to secure the safety of my great-niece and great-nephew. My niece was hooked on drugs and living with her drug dealer, who also beat her on multiple occasions. Did we bury our heads in the sand? NO, we did not. We talked to counselors, attorneys, and child advocacy groups. Our biggest mistake, however, was getting DCFS involved, though we did get custody of the children for a period of time. I won’t go into the nightmare of dealing with DCFS, as it would take a novel to cover all the outright lies and deception of that government body in that particular state. My niece hated us for quite a long time – until she sobered up, gotten beaten/choked so badly that if it had not been for a maintenance guy at her apartment complex, she would have been dead, and went into treatment. Fortunately for our family, she is now drug-free, gainfully employed, and trying to turn her life around. She has custody of the children again, but is allegedly “monitored” by DCFS.
My advice to grandparents or family members who are concerned about the welfare of children is to do lots of research and locate a child advocacy organization in or near your community BEFORE things end like they did for little Caylee. Most of these organizations are not-for-profit and the work that they do is tremendous.
As far as the Anthony’s, I wish they would just stay out of the foundation business – they have nothing of significance to offer any family going through the pain of a child abduction/murder.

I think their intentions are good, but they are the last people who are advocates for any child victim. They consider Casey the true victim in this crime, then themselves. I think the feeling is one of disconnection about Caylee – as though some mysterious stranger abducted and murdered their grandchild, they are operating on a false belief and disengaged from reality. All of this mission statement flies in the face of mountains of evidence and if they ignore the truth, ignore the fact that the grandchild was likely murdered in their own home, ignore that their daughter committed this crime, then this would make sense. Nobody else can ignore it and they seem confused and defiantly stubborn that their daughter is an innocent victim in this horrible event. The foundation and goals would be admirable, if vague, coming from anyone else but this family. If I pretend this is what happened it’s reality, but they made a mistake thinking they could go public, ask for donations considering there has been no admission of the truth of the crime, who committed it and that they understand what happened to their grandchild. I understand forgiving your child, I understand standing by your child no matter what their crime because you love them, not the crime or what they did but you still love your child unconditionally, don’t for a moment think that anyone has not grasped the reality of the crime, and denying it only makes them look sad and foolish. Add in the criminals who rip people off from Kidfinders Network and you have aligned yourself with the scum of the parasites in child recovery scams, this only makes them look more sad and foolish.
I can’t imagine what they will do when all the evidence is presented in court and the world knows what the daughter did to that child, and why. There they will sit with their little foundation knowing they contributed to the situation that lead to that child’s death.

Don’t you think most of the world already suspects she is guilty. In a sense I agree with you. If there was another suspect or hope of a suspect and it wasn’t casey who killed Caylee then the Anthony’s would be extremely complicated to deal with but would be truly innocent grieving grandparents. The problem with this is this…. The Anthony’s do not have clean hands! I think their hands are so dirty they will never wash them clean. Whether it was help with the coverup, the denial of Casey’s guilt, the lack of justice and respect for Caylee, the foundation to keep them with a roof over their heads, money in their pockets, and gas in their vehicles, The Ant’s presentation and the way they act in front of the media totally troubles me.
I can see loving your child but not loving what they did. I could even have pity on them for that. There comes a point when you just have to own up to it and say I was wrong…. will that day ever come or will we hate the A’s forever?

I have been thinking a lot about the upcoming trial for Casey. I get scared thinking that somehow she will get out of this and be found “not guilty”. That bothered me a lot. But now, knowing how the majority of people feel about her and her disfunctional family, I know that IF she does get out of this, she will be living a life of hell. I don’t think she will have one friend left in this world who would stand up for her. Her family will eventually turn on her as they know what she did even if they will never admit it. And I can honestly see someone taking her life for the simple reason that she took Caylees. She will never be able to show her face in public without someone trying to hurt her. So either way, she is toast. She might better hope that she is kept in prison where they can keep her away from mothers who love their children. There are many mothers in prison but one thing is for sure. They did not murder their innocent child and they would love to pay Casey back for what she did to Caylee.
I see this foundation as an attempt by the Anthonys to further their “Caylee was abducted by a stranger agenda” .It is ludicrous and an insult to families with children who truly have been abducted. What type of advice could these people give?? They have lied and obstructed the investigation from the very beginning . I used to feel some sympathy for them but not any more. It sickens me how they can defend their daughter when it is so blatantly obvious that she killed Caylee. I agree that there needs to be a voice for Caylee because George and Cindy have turned their backs on her. What a sad ,sick and twisted family. My hope is that Casey gets convicted and this family fades from public view. Noone should profit from the death of a child.
I am watching Larry King. He asks the A’s if they talked to Casey about what happened when she was home. George starts to say that they didn’t have much time and then Cindy interrupts and says oh yeah she talk to us. George makes this comment and says we didn’t have much time to question her not the like I wanted to. I find it funny how George wants to tell what really happens and then Cindy says something to shut him up.
Cindy is a woman who is concerned about appearances. She doesn’t want the world to see that her daughter is filth and a common criminal. She’ll just pretend that they are the perfect family and as long as she doesn’t talk about it, then Casey really is innocent.

Lies, Lies, Lies, and More Lies!
First Lie – George was asked by Larry if he ever considered harming himself, He responded NEVER ! Ok if that were true then please explain his hopsitalization for his attempt at suicide, or was that nothing more than a stunt (in MY OPINION – STAGED) to postpone his deposition in the lawsuit and to gain sympathy from LE in hopes they wouldn’t be prosecuted for obstruction.
Second Lie- Cindy responds to Larry’s questions about Cassie as a mother, her response was that Casie was a great mother and showed much love to her daughter, if that were true why would she have told her OWN mother, co-workers, and her Cassie herself on more than one occasion that she was going to take custody of Caylee becasue she was a lousy mother.
Third Lie- Cindy claims that there was No heart sticker — well according to the documnets released and the pictures that were released from the prosecution during discovery – they cleary state that the FBI have the sticker that was found and they also claim that they the paper in which it originated from.
I didn’t watch the entire Larry King Show tonight, but just in a span of maybe 15 minutes I count 3 lies,half truths , mistruths– whatever Cindy wants to claim it to be.
Also, I want to add a comment about the article Princess wrote about the Anthony’s – As you all know my sister lives next to the Anthony’s many people have wondered and asked what the neighbors must think of Cindy & George with all this crazy going on in their neighborhood. Well the only thing I can say is this, the neighbors weren’t freindly with George & Cindy to begin with. Cindy wasn’t liked by many of her neighbors due to her overbearing condensending attitutde, that she was better than the rest. People had her pegged thye knew that she was alwasy about the Blessed Buck – Cindy spent her time trying to keep up with the Joneses but in her mind she was the Joneses and tried to mimic that personia but her neighbors knew better!
While I feel for the fact that they lost a grandchild in a horrific way by the hand of their own daughter and the agony they go thru everyday. I honestly believe that the reason they stand behind Cassie Now is No other reason than GUILT! They feel they failed Cassie. While I agree they are the only ones that should make a dime of Caylee I don’t agree with the idea of it in general . I don’t think any one should profit in anyway shape or form wether it be for good resons or bad. It’s truly my opinion. It angers me that George & Cindy have been seen on weekends tooling around lake on the Boat they claim is to help search for missing children. IN MY OPINION, this was nothing more than a payoff to pasify George. Loose a granddaughter gain a speedboat, again this my opinion and my opinion alone. This to me was a buyout of keeping George in line.
George & Cindy have lost a granddaughter yes and my heart feels for them and can’t imagine the pain. I however don’t have an ounce of repsect for them, they sold out the ONE PERSON they vowed to protect. Caylee will never have rest till someone stands up for her and HER alone. OUr children deserve to have a soft place to fall, we are here to protect them from theri craddle to OUR graves – they deserve that and much much more! Mommies I think it did come out in the last doc release that the sticker was not on the tape. It was found either in the bag or near the bag. I don’t remember the exact location. So Cindy is right on that one. Cindy is in denial and trying to do whatever she can to make Casey look innocent. I didn’t hear George say he didn’t say he did not harm himself. I thought he had said he didn’t want to discuss it. I have to say that I feel George will tell the truth at the trial and won’t cover it up. I think if George was away from Cindy he would admit that Casey is guilty. You could see the tension between Cindy and Goerge and Cindy and Brad. I think Brad must of told her to shut her trap. Also Cindy is the only one still going on about how she hired the PI and he is still working for her. I am sure he is doing more than searching for her. He is probably doing her.
it wasn’t found on the sticker but the residue was still there on the tape and they could clearly see that it was a heart, and yes they did find the sticker near caylee. Yes that is true. But her answer in my opinion made it sound like there was NO Evidence of a sticker. and that simply wasn’t true.

I just reread the doc released May 1 and there was no sticker or presence of a sticker there. So there was no residue on the tape found on Caylee. So Cindy was right on that one for once. I think it was Leonard Padilla that started that residue rumor. Alot of things he said they found on the body have been wrong.

A heart-shaped sticker was put on the duct tape that covered Caylee Marie Anthony’s mouth, an Orange County investigator wrote in search warrant affidavit.
That detail is one of several included in hundreds of pages of legal documents released today by the State Attorney’s Office in its case against Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony.
The reports detail more about what investigators found when Caylee’s remains were recovered Dec. 11:
- The remains appeared to have originally been within a black plastic bag and within a cloth laundry hamper bag. – There was a piece of silver duct tape over the mouth area of Caylee’s skull. – Inside the bag, investigators found a small shirt, small pair of white shorts and small cloth-type letters that appear to be iron-ons, and a Winnie the Pooh blanket.
While the duct tape was being processed at the FBI lab in Quantico, Va., investigators noticed residue in the “perfect shape of a heart.” The residue “appeared to be consistent with the adhesive side of a heart shaped sticker,” sheriff’s Detective Yuri Melich stated in one of the documents.
He noted that investigators who scoured the wooded area where Caylee’s remains were found located a small heart-shaped sticker similar in size to the residue on the tape.
“It appears that the sticker was put on the duct tape intentionally,” he stated.
In another search warrant for Casey’s home on Hopespring Drive, where she lived with her parents and Caylee, investigators asked to collect: – Arts and crafts materials, stickers and scrap book material – Casey Anthony’s shoes – Small plastic toy horses similar to one found at the crime scene

Go and read the doc that was released 5/01 from FBI labratory it states on page 3 that pieces of tape were examined for the presence of any stickers. No stickers or sticker fragments were found on these items. I know it was discussed on Jane Velez show on HLN tonight and they brought up about how the info released by the detective was wrong. Actually from what I read in the FBI report there is not much to link the body being put there by Casey. I hope that they have withheld the main evidence.
Where were they with the boat when a teen boy was missing in an Orlando lake? Someone posted the link to the article on the BH forum, but that would have been prime opportunity to utilize their SS Minnow to search for this child who drowned.

She said she gets thousands of letters asking for them to come to the aid of parents with children missing. I DO NOT believe this one iota. How sickening she was saying they were helping other families, when she is the main reason, poor little Caylee (went away)…Her control factor, I believe had everything to do with Caylee’s death. I find their organization OFFENSIVE in light of their behavior during the search for Caylee. Why do you support them? What have they done to form the basis of their mission statement? Do you believe that they have the skills necessary to teach other families of the missing to behave as they did while dealing with LE and the media?

I was willing to give the Anthony’s some leeway before Caylee’s remains were found. As positive as many of us were that Casey had murdered her own daughter, without a body there were no absolutes, and I sympathized with them as grandparents. Unfortunately, they haven’t changed their tune one iota since December and continue to coddle Casey and claim she could never hurt Caylee. I agree with everyone else that this is just another way for them to make money.
But I still see no answer from the one who says they would donate money to the Anthonys. There must be some of you who are reading this who are Anthony supporters. Why would you donate money to the Ant’s. I’d love to hear it.

By the way, did anyone have trouble understanding Cindy-Loon-Who when she explained that whole teddy bear thing? From what I gathered, people donate to the “Foundation” and that money is used to purchase those teddy bears which they are going to give to law enforcement officials (whom the Anthony’s have always been so respectful and helpful to?) to give to children in these missing children cases? Correct me if I am wrong here, but if a child is missing, who exactly, law enforcement or otherwise, is going to be giving the child a teddy bear???? If they are missing, how would they get a teddy bear, or heaven forbid, if a child is found murdered, what good is that teddy bear going to do then? That whole teddy bear concept was completely lost on me.

C. ANTHONY: What the bear is for — our first project is kind of like a thank you back to law enforcement agencies. Especially we’re going to start with Orange County.
KING: Police?
C. ANTHONY: Police departments, sheriff departments. Give them the bears so they have them with their officers.
KING: Are you giving it to people who support the foundation too?
C. ANTHONY: Um, no, what we want is any money that’s brought in will go into the projects. The bear we’ll give to the first responders so that if there’s a child that’s there and they’re upset, they can give the bear to help calm the child down.

The A’s are about 20 years behind in the Teddy Bear Program. Almost ALL police departments have this already instigated, private citizens as well as certain stores and organizations donate teddy bears to the department directly, so if a child is a witness to a crime or a family member is arrested or killed, they give them a teddy bear or other stuffed animal to comfort them. I know our little police department does. When I helped with a local Toys For Tots program some years ago, we took all the left over stuffed animals to the Sheriff Department just for this program.
It’s getting to be there are TOO MANY “foundations” in memory of someone, they are competeing in an area dependant on donations where the advertising for solicitation of funds will far outweigh the money that will come in.
If they want to do something in memory of Caylee they should set up a organization like the one we have where I live that would provide respite care for a child when the Parent or Caregiver such as a Grandparent can take the child so they have a few days break so the CareGiver does not get overwhelmed and beat or kill the child. There are so many Grandparents taking care of their Grandchildren who are living on Soc. Sec. because of their age and they do not have any family that can give them a break so they can unwind or go on a vacation without the child. These Grandparent have little money to buy food or pay house payment or rent. They take their Grandchildren in because the parent or parents are on drugs or drink and cannot care for the child or they are in jail or dead. I was a respite provider and I took in alot of these Grandchildren. I did not get much pay for the weekend and sometimes week I had the children. The Social Network Group that started this had very little money from Govt. Grants to fund it. It was sad half the kids had good clothes or have eaten good food. The Grandparents were so thankful and did not have to worry about the children because they met the Provider ahead of time and they were able to go and do something or a lot of them just stayed home and rested and enjoyed the Peace and Quiet.
Also the Group set up a program where a parent who cannot afford or cannot find someone to watch their child for a few hours so they can go down to welfare office or doctors appointment a place they could take the child for a couple of hours so they can do this. The welfare offices were I live don’t want the parents to bring the children with them and they have no funding for a daycare room. These services were offered by this group because they got donations and govt. grant money.
I think this would be better than the Teddy Bears that Police already give out.
Have been thinking who could the defense get that would meet the need of a DP lawyer in Miami, then it dawned on me the Kennedy case. I remember watching that case on Court TV. If not mistaken Linda Baden was also apart of that case.
The defense claims to have a new DP lawyer wondering who it could be I started thinking about the area in which Bozo wants to take this trial and why, I always thought it was for the sympathy Hispanic vote, but that will & would only go so far. Then I started thinking that maybe it was to do with DP lawyer and using their resources & who would be a top lawyer to lend respect to BOZO (if that is all possible, which I doubt).

It doesn’t matter which Kennedy it seems most of the younger generations of them have done nothing but get into trouble. I would like to know where the money is coming from to pay all of these lawyers. I can’t believe the govt is paying for them. If this case was not publicized so much would she have been able to get any of these people to defend her for free? Probably Not. They are just doing it for publicity because she has no money. Unless she promised to have sex with them all. If it was you or me we would of been sentenced to death by now and had a free public defender that just graduated from college.

I know she isn’t receiving assistance from the State of Florida, if she was she would have to file court doc’s showing indigence, and all financial records would be exposed and they can’t do that because that is the crux of their case that Casey had a nanny and that she was working , if she claimed she didn’t have money then how was she intending to pay BOZO his retainer fee and where did she get the money to do so. So no they are doing it all PRO BONO for the grand pay off there is no doubt about that, but the big question is what is the payoff already that some have bought into, besides the publicity cause that too will only last for so long. So we are all left to PONDER where is she getting the money.

Roy Black trivia: He married one of the jurors on the William Kennedy Smith jury. I always thought that was strange.
I forgot about that, let’s hope Bozo doesn’t follow suit and cause a mistrial with Casey either by fooling around with someone on the jury or with her.
How did they meet do you know ? I remember that scenerio but not the details.
I could never find the info on that. It was barely a mention after he married her. My thought was, there had to be some hanky panky because if I remember correctly, it wasn’t too long after the trial.

Wait until all of this is over and they have to face what really did happen. What is Cindy going to say or do then. I don’t know what state you’re in but this sounds like a great organization! I wish more of these so called \do gooders\ would put the children and guardians first. Most of the children come to the guardians with very few possessions. It’s expensive to start from scratch with clothing etc. plus trying to deal with changing the lifestyle they have been exposed to by their parents. At times it can be mind boggling. But worth it after a period of time you see them changing into a responsible person you’re so proud of.
My daughter is a director of children services in Florida. I do know their hands are tied with what they can do because of the court system and there is no state funds for children. When I sought custody of my granddaughter I decided to hire an attorney because I didn’t want the \system\ involved in our lives. Thank God they’re not! I’m retired and live on a fixed income so I know how expensive it is to raise a grandchild. I haven’t had a break in 6 years but I have never been so overwhelmed that I would hurt this child if I go on vacation she goes too. But I do understand how exhausting at my age a child can be and the need for a break on occasions. I salute any organization that is willing to give respite to guardians.
I’m not like the Anthony’s I resent what my son and his ex-wife have done to this child. The only thing the Anthony’s should run is \Out of the Country\.

I am from ohio. The respite group was started by a lady who worked for the local Social Services agency. She went on her own and this is one of the things she has done. I know they rely on govt. grants and she has to apply for them. The govt. had cut back on the amount of the money they were receiving to fund the project and I know she was froced to cut some of the people out of the program. The Grandparents or caregiver is eligible for so many repite breaks in a year. The Respit provider has been thoroughly checked out before being accepted. I had to get fingerprinted and they were checked by the State to make sure I was never convicted of anything. I had to have references etc. After that they will call you when they have a family that needs someone to care for the kids. It is also for single parents that have no family support and have a child that is a handful to care for. I know I would pay for things out of my pocket like toothbrush, shoes, getting them a haircut if they need one.
