Drew Peterson
I am so happy that Drew Peterson was FINALLY arrested for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. Kathleen Savio was discovered by her neighbors on March 1, 2004, in her Bolingbrook, Illinois home. She was found in an empty bathtub with gash on the back of her head. Initially, her death was ruled an accident.
Drew Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson disappeared in October 2007, and her husband has been a person of interest in her disappearance. There was cause for concern with regard to his third wife’s death, and as a result of the concerns Kathleen Savio’s remains were exhumed and a second autopsy was performed on her. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Drew was followed from his Illinois home this afternoon, and arrested for the murder of his third wife. Peterson was supposed to fly to Reno tomorrow to discuss a job possibility with the owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel. His bond is set at $21 million. I don’t think ol’ Drew is going anywhere for awhile.
As excited as I am about his arrest, I can’t help but feel sadness for his children. They won’t have parents now.

I read his adult son Steve has the children now. I’ll lay odds though that Stacey’s family will try and get the children she had with him. I cannot help but feel sorry for the children.

You know he is innocent till proven guilty. Wonder what the disclosure laws of evidence are in IL. I hope they are like the Sunshine Laws in Florida, though I doubt it. Florida is probably the most liberal state in public disclosure. This case is going to be another media mess. Can LE prove he did it is the question! I guess there was enough for a special grand jury to finally issue an indictment. I bet they have been working on this for a long time!
Drew has always acted inappropriately. I was shocked to learn he was the first responder when he was a police officer to Savio’s home ( I think they were in the midst of a divorce and don’t know if they lived together at the time?) … gee how did that happen and not look real suspicious at the time? There were prior allogationis of abuse by Drew on Savio. How has Drew managed, with his big mouth to not get arrested sooner. What do investigators know that we may not even be aware of is my question.
I thought the bail was 20 million not 21 million.

The state’s attorney certainly has their work cut out for them. I think getting a guilty verdict will be a tough sell, but old Drew isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Twenty-one millon dollars bond- holy cow that’s some change. Enjoy your cell Drew and remenber don’t drop the soap.
There will be motions to reduce the bond at a hearing. Even so, it probably won’t be lowered too much.
I hope the special grand jury in Illinois is getting close to indicting him for the disappearance of Stacey.

Well, it’s about freaking time. He’s such a pompous ass, he will probably brag to another inmate about whatever he did to Stacy. Then she can finally be recovered and put to rest and he will get the death sentence he deserves.
I hope one day he divulges where he put Stacy.
If they have enough to send him away on this one, maybe he will reveal her whereabouts as a bargaining chip of some sort. Just guessing out loud ..

I am so glad they finally nailed him-I hope he will give up the information or they can find Stacey and charge him with her death/disappearance also. Moral: NO one is above the law!!
What was he going to be hired at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch for, killing the old used up hookers? If those women didn’t have to deal with enough losers to begin with, especially Denis the Madam who’s a stone cold freak.
I am glad Drew Peterson is going to finally be held accountable for his crime, and I hope somehow he can be induced to tell where the current Mrs Peterson’s body is now so her family can get her back and give her a proper burial. Just pure evil.

He was on HLN a bit ago, being taken from a con van in an ornage jumpsuit in handcuffs and leg chains. Still has that cocky grin, and it was reported he made jokes about everything from his “spiffy” new clothes (an orange jumpsuit) to the three hots and a cot.

I read he was scheduled to leave on a flight to Nevada Friday morning for an interview at the Ranch as head of security for the prostitutes. This really is the best news I’ve heard this week other than little Joshua Childers being found alive in the woods of MO. I also read that Peterson gave his son $20K to take care of his children in case he ever went to jail. Peterson had to know it was coming. Watching that video of him being arrested was great! I hope they play that over and over on the news. Peterson will never admit to anything. He’ll never admit to killing Stacy. I just the state has some solid evidence to convict him.
Finally this SOB is getting his. Let’s just hope they have enough to nail his gonads to the wall.

I feel bad for the kids too but I would feel bad for them in any case living with him — he is so cocky he would probably have tried it again and killed another wife or GF and the children would have had to go through even more. PLus it is not healthy for kids to be raised by a person who has the attitude that women are literally disposable.
I, also, read that he was going to be involved in a reality show. How sick is that????? Those poor kids were paraded on TV recently, proclaiming what a wonderful dad he is….pppffftttt.
Watchng fox last night there was a seen in which several officers were side stepping out of the house, holding up a big trap screen. It
slippeda little and the camera angle showed that it was shielding the little daughter as they were walking her out of the house to a waiting police car. It made me very sad.
Finally. Justice will be served. I think we should all have a BH party and celebrate. I hope he gets convicted and they sentence him to death or lose the key to his jail cell. Actually if they do put him in a real jail someone will be ready to knock that smirk off of his face. This is one guy other than Bugger Bailey I can not stand.

Trying to remember from way back when Stacy came up missing. Did he talke $250,000 from an equity loan and this money was given to his son Steve? What’s 10% on that bond going to be? Might come in handy now, plus the house.
I was more shocked that he was going to talk to the Bunny Ranch. Now that was something I didn’t ever expect!
I am so thankful that this sleazeball is behind bars – I hope he never gets out. He makes my skin crawl every time I see him.
I do not believe he will ever admit guilt in either case, Kathleen’s or Stacy’s. He is the old, fugly version of Scott Peterson.

I wonder how Drew likes it that he will be spending the weekend in jail instead of at that Brothel Ranch. Poor Drew. I think it is funny that they arrested him when his lawyer is out of town for the weekend and now he has to wait to have a bail hearing. I hope the bail is set high enough that he can’t post it.

OT, but I hate the Bunny Ranch too since that stupid series Cat House on HBO has been on. Drew would have fit right in, in terms of ugliness, stupidity, and blind egotism.
hopefully now justice can be served.. I too, like everyone else here feel for his children yet at the same time i can’t help but think that at least now they may come to know normalcy.. I cannot believe that living in a house with that monster with his loud mouth ways could be calming!!! Hopefully at some point they will be able to learn what a normal life is!!! As far as Drew, lets all hope that he runs into a few men in his new housing that don’t care much for ex police officers!!!! I hate to say it but i enjoy the thought of him living in fear EVERY day of his life!!!
As Drew said in an interview he wasn’t the problem, they were. The IL house had to change a law that allows hearsay as evidence in order to indict him. I don’t know if that is going to hold up, I hope so, but this is hanging by a thread, he is an accomplished serial killer on par with Ted Bundy in his full on laughing at the justice system – smart and well trained to cover his crimes up. He is pretty sure he’s going to get off eventually. And kill again. He’s just getting rid of a problem you see?
