One Mind, One Dead Child

It is hardly a secret that stupid people annoy the crap out of me. It is hard for me to understand how some of the knuckle draggers that I write about are able to survive without causing serious harm to themselves. Hurting themselves is fine by me…it’s nature’s way of thinning the herd, but when stupid people breed it concerns me. Stupid people harming themselves = oh well. Stupid people harming their children = PISSED OFF! Just because you have a uterus doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be a good parent. Example: That douchebag Nadia Suleman, the Octotard. WHY does she still have all of those children? She is a perfect example of why idiots should not breed. I’m sure I could think of a few other crappy parents, but I’ll stop at that one.
Anyhow, this story caught my attention only because for the first time in legal history there is a clause that a guilty plea will be retracted IF the victim of a murder is resurrected. You read it correctly. If the victim, 2-year old Javon Thompson, rises from the dead, the charges against his psycho mother will be dropped. I s**t you not. Five adults were to be tried for murder starting yesterday, and the mother agreed to plea to a lesser charge on the condition that the charges would be dropped if Javon rose from the dead. *coughphucktardcough*
Queen Dumbass
The mother, Ria Ramkissoon, was a member of a cult called “One Mind Ministries” led by this unsavory looking fool, who calls herself Queen Antoinette. The cult lived in Baltimore in a run down rowhouse. The Queen would recruit young mothers with babies. She and her members would look for young women who were on the streets and struggling. Once a member of the cult, medical care was shunned, and they engaged in pot smoking, and blew the smoke into the mouths of the children.
Javon wasn’t quite 2 years old when he died. He was 21 months old. Members of the cult beat and deprived Javon of food and water because he wouldn’t say “Amen” after his meals. The child couldn’t speak yet, and was only speaking basic words. These freaks let this baby die of starvation. After he died, they laid his body on a mattress and they prayed over him awaiting his resurrection.
Javon’s lifeless body lay on the mattress for about a week before they shoved him into a green suitcase with mothballs and fabric softener sheets. The group traveled with the suitcase to Philadelphia, where they stored Javon’s dead body in a shed of an acquaintance. The group moved onto New York and about a year later the suitcase was found by Baltimore police.
Before the members of the group were arrested, they had planned on opening businesses all over Baltimore, including a clothing line called J.C. Apparel. Their slogan:
“Don’t be shamed to rock his name, Jesus Christ!”
PFFFT, it should have read: “Dumbasses should not breed!“ It is far more appropriate, and would sell better.

And just how was he supposed to rise from the dead in a suitcase with fabric softener sheets and mothballs, not to mention being left in someone’s shed? Did she toss in a cell phone along with the mothballs? Just WHO takes a dead body with them when they move too? This isn’t the first story I’ve read where someone took a dead child’s remains with them.
And if you think about it, telling her if he wakes from the dead she’ll be cut some slack is rather intelligent on the part of LE to get her to plead guilty. Look at all the taxpayers’ money they saved by this plea agreement!
I will never ever understand a “religion” (read Cult) that allows and even encourages abuse of a child. How can a mother do that to her children?
I can hardly believe that what I’m reading is true. This is what we’ve come to? Religions that advocate blowing pot smoke in babies faces, and DA’s that actually make deals with murderers that include the clause….oy. My head hurts.
I am disgusted that a legal agency would agree to such nonsense…I am sure they counter with an explanation alluding to making it easier to get justice, and have this so called mother take a plea deal. I say BULLOCKS. Why even offer a plea? Did they think a jury couldnt see the truth? I dont care what the reasons are for this ridiculous caveat to this woman’s plea deal. It makes a mockery of our justice system, it lessens the seriousness of the crime and once again a child’s memory is being left to the wayside so that the adults can have their way…Sickening.
I had so much more to add to this comment, but I am flustered and I know most everyone is tired of trying to get through my ramblings, I’ve been trying not to post as often because of that, lol…
Not saying I will be able to stop myself later though…It’s early in the day, and this is going to stick with me.
Bless you sweet Javon. I remember you.
I pray they all rot in HELL.
I read about this. I’m disgusted but not surprised. I guess with all the thoughts I have on the Anthony case, I’m worried now on top of it all. Pray to god KC doesn’t get the newspaper in jail!
She(the ‘mother’) was already cut a lot of slack. One heck of a plea deal, including the off the wall ‘if he is resurrected clause:
“Under the plea agreement, Ramkissoon would get 20 years behind bars with a judge suspending all but time served. She must also undergo treatment, including the process of deprogramming and five years of probation.”
WTF?? She need to de-program in JAIL!
“”I mentioned to her that when she gets out, I want her to come home, and we can start building back together. She said she’s not going backward. She’s moving forward, meaning this family is not her family anymore — she has a new family that she’s going to move forward with … that’s the cult,” said Seta Khadan-Newton, Ramkissoon’s mother.”
Oh, and the leader of this messed up group needs no lawyer!
“The other members of the cult were also in court Monday. Antoinette had no attorney present. She claimed God was her lawyer, Simms reported.”
There is a link to the actual story off CNN crimes in the northeast section.
Incredible!! I was readingthis story late last night and was planning on sending it to you but no need. Like I said the other day, nothing much surprises me anymore.
captcha: flying dupes……yep
I read yesterday that her deprogramming is to consist of 2 eight hour sessions.
Seriously?
She’s been in jail for a year. Her son was dead a year before his little body was found. If she hasn’t caught a clue in the past 2 years, I’m thinking that deprogramming for 16 hours isn’t going to make a dent in her bucket of delusion.
This woman needs more time in jail. She let her baby starve to death and de-hydrate. Both are painful. I can not imagine why her sentence was suspended!
She is still delusional if she required that the if he is resurrected clause be included before she would sign it!!
I get very sad reading anything about little ones being harmed in any way , shape or form , but this makes me a lot more than just sad.I am totally sick to my stomach and more angry than I thought I could be with all of my new meds, even the meds don’t hide the evil of this mother and her “cult”, so how could the legal system be so giving to her? I am about to give up on any beliefs that Justice is blind!
Is this ‘mother’ going to be able to have any more children, once she gets out on her suspended sentence??
It’s too bad she can’t be sterilized.
“Don’t be shamed to rock his name, Jesus Christ!”
By the looks of her, I think she meant to say, “Don’t be shamed to rock the pipe, Jesus Christ!” Nasty ol’ b***h.
And the word you’re looking for, RIA (aka s**t-for-brains-short for diarrhea) —– is ASHAMED.
All I can say is “look at her.” Argh……….:(
Every single one of the degenerates who had anything to do with this childs death, deserves the death penalty. They are nothing more than a burden to society. They don’t deserve a right to a fair trial, they deserve to die the way this precious child did. Rest in Peace Javon. You are finally safe.
I totally agree with “just me”…..That poor little baby didn’t have a chance with these crazies. Why doesnt someone, anyone who is aware of the goings on, in these cults, speak up before it is too late to save a child.???????????? Why,,,,oh,,,,why,,,,,,.????????? Rest in peace sweet child….This makes me so sick….How can we save the children from these monsters????
Am I the only one who feels the reason they made this deal is because the “mother” is mentally ill? Seems to me they want the leader of the pack, not the follower, although I do agree she should have stepped up to protect her child. But this is how these cults work… they make the weak believe.
I’m not excusing her actions, if anything, I feel she should be locked up in a mental hospital… but the real danger (IMHO) are the people who led her to believe her child would rise from the dead.
JOOTA – Excellent point! I hope that you are right about that. This Queen Antoinette and her minions need to be stopped ASAP before this happens again. My heart aches for this little one and the suffering he went through.
If someone were to go up to this so called *cult leader* and put a bullet in her head, would the shooter also be allowed the same sentence?
A 20 year sentence with all but 1 year served upon the same contingency clause?
What the h*ll is going on in our justice system? Or do we not have one anymore???
This is so horrible.
The crazy thing is that there are MANY children who die every year due to religious beliefs and the parents are NOT prosecuted. “Followers of Christ”, “General Assembly and Church of the First Born”, and “Christian Scientists” are the main culprits. They allow their children to die from medical neglect in staggering numbers. Rita Swan’s organization, C.H.I.L.D., has documented at LEAST 300 deaths in the last 25 years. Only a very small number of these cases were prosecuted. Very few of the 300 deaths include ante and perinatal numbers, since so often the county is either unaware of these deaths or no autopsy is performed. Many states have specific religious exemptions for medical neglect, her organization is working to change that.
There was a death just a few weeks ago in my area, a 17 year old boy named Zachary Swezey was allowed by his parents to die of a ruptured appendix while they rubbed oil on his forhead and prayed over him. The paper is not reporting this travesty nor is the Okanogan county prosecutor doing anything about it. They are “First Borns”.
Religious based preventable deaths of children should be prosecuted fully whenever and wherever they occurr. I dont care whether it’s a “cult” or a government recognised religion, when there is a dead child at the end of it there is no difference to me.
Prosecute these f**ks to the fullest extent to send a clear message that this nonsense will not be tolerated.
Is First Borns a religion? OMG I cannot believe they allowed him to die from a ruptured appendix. I cannot imagine the excruciating pain he was going through. I’m sad beyond belief thinking about it. WTH is wrong with people?
There was another case like Zachary… Madeline Neumann, died from untreated diabetes while her parents prayed over her last year in Wisconsin. The parents are on trial now, charged with reckless homicide. This case stands out in my mind because it took a concerned relative in California to call authorities to check on her… but it was too late. They are trying to prevent it from going to trial citing religious freedom. I say bullshyte, if the law won’t protect children from religious fanatics, who will? If you google “child dies because parents choose prayer over medicine”, you’ll get 1,370,000 different hits. It’s frightening.
Holy crap! That IS frightening!
You know, what frustrates me also no end is how some “churches” come down on their members for even so much as taking antidepressants. I’ve heard friends tell me that their church basically thought they should just be able to “pray away the depressing thoughts.” C’mon, if God didn’t want people to take medications, then He would not have allowed scientists to create them and factories to manufacture them and doctors/psychiatrists prescribe them. I see nothing wrong with people who are clinically depressed taking medication and I sure as heck don’t think God will punish them for doing so.
Oh, yeah… that would be Mr. T. Cruise’s “religion”, created by a certain late Sci-Fi writer… he publiclly denounced Brooke Shields for taking medication to combat her post-partum depression. I’m sure there are other “religions” who do the same. As someone who’s suffered from depression and anxiety for the last 30 years, I want to tell Mr. Cruise he’s freakin’ LUCKY something like this didnt happen to him. One cannot possibly fathom what it’s like to have their own brain turn against everything they could be just because of what doctors call “a chemical imbalance”. Cruise (and Hubbard) swear there is no such thing… if there isn’t, then how come I feel more normal when I take the chemicals the scientists created to battle this?
At the same time, I can’t say I understand allowing someone else take over your free will, especially when it involves your own flesh and blood, but then, for almost 20 years, I didn’t understand my own mental “problems”. The stigma is the hardest, understanding and believing it’s NOT your fault runs a close second. The worse part about it, in cases like this “mother”, there are signs of something horrible happening long before someone is actually killed because of it. Andrea Yates is a perfect example, and she too was under the “direction” of a crazed man who used religion to debase and control people. It saddens me, since this isn’t the “God” I was taught about.
first problem I have with that is the belief that there are ‘depressing thoughts’ causing depression.
We are not talking about a case of the blues here. Depression is caused by several things, and the one treated by antidepressants is usually a chemical imbalance in the serotonin (and other) in the brain.
I don’t hate much in life, but I HATE when people think you can just snap out of it (depression) with happy thoughts.
And I so agree that God gifted doctors and researchers with their skill in order to make the world better! I guess their God does not love them like the God I believe in.
Just who came up with this resurrection clause ? I’m not worried that it will ever apply here… but did a lawyer or judge come up with it? These freaks are worse than the people who deny medical care for religious reasons because they purposely starved and beat this child to death. Then they tried to hide behind their religion by pulling out the bullshyt resurrection crap. That woman in the picture looks like a total crackhead .It seems like any child who is exposed to this cult probably has no chance and should be taken out of there if the parents want to stay that’s their business.
Yes, the “First Borns” are a religion, they have approximately 6000-10,000 followers in the USA. They are by all community accounts (they tend to concentrate in specific areas) very nice people with the exception of this medical nonsense. They will go to dentists and optometrists but will not go to physicians. In some of the FB sects they will be “marked” for seeing a physician and cast out, so there is very real pressure to conform.
The reason so many of these cases are not prosecuted is because many states (including Washington) have specific exemptions for religious medical neglect. The good thing (if there is one) is that this exemption only specifies the Christian Scientists. What is happening now is that some states are beginning to prosecute these other cases (like the first borns and followers of christ) and then lobbyists are successfully arguing that the state is showing preferential treatment to the christian scientists, so those laws are being slowly repealed. Oregon has prosecuted quite a few of these cases recently, there is a large nest of the Followers of Christ there and the amount of child death as a result has been staggering.
I know that some would make a distinction, but personally I see no real difference in allowing your child to die from appendicitis or starving them to death or suffocating them during an exorcism. All involve religious action or inaction that led to death, all should be prosecuted as if religion wasn’t even a factor.
There was one first born family in California who allowed *3* of their children to die preventable deaths before the state stepped in. In the vast majority of these religious cases guilt is non-existent and almost all state that they would act the same if given the chance.
It is inexcusable that our elected officials charged to protect children and uphold the law do NOTHING in so many of these cases.
So, apparently the “First Born”’s Higher Power can cure everything except cavities and nearsightedness? They can go get a cavity filled and get glasses, but an appendix bursting their religion will heal? What a load of crappola.
